Collection and Processing of Personal Data
We generally process personal data of our users only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functioning website as well as our content and services.
2.1 When visiting the website (Log files)
When using our website for purely informational purposes, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server (server log files). This includes: IP address, date and time of the request, content of the request, access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, requesting website, browser, operating system, language, and version of the browser software. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the stability and security of the website).
2.2 Contacting us
When contacting us (e.g., via email or phone), the user's details are processed to handle the contact request pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).
2.3 Processing within the scope of our services
When you use our services, we process data to fulfill the contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. This applies in particular to:
Job Placement, Application Support and Freelancer Portal
We process applicant and freelancer data (CVs, certificates, qualifications, contact details) for the purpose of matching and placement with potential employers or apprenticeship companies. We use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to match profiles with job requirements. There is no fully automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR; the final placement decision is always made by our experts or the partner companies.
Energy Industry Services
We process company, system, and customer data from both installation companies and private customers for the purpose of PV grid connection registration with the grid operator and registration in the Core Energy Market Data Register (MaStR). Processing is carried out to fulfill the contract (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR) on behalf of the customer.
Tech and Engineering / IT and AI Solutions
We process project data, technical specifications, communication data, and, if applicable, access data to systems to provide consulting and development services. If we process personal data on behalf of our customers during the development or operation of IT and AI solutions, we act as a data processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Digital Presence and Marketing
We process access data to social media profiles or CMS systems, marketing data, tracking and analysis data processed on behalf of the customer. Here too, we generally act as a data processor (Art. 28 GDPR). Corresponding Data Processing Agreements (DPA) must be concluded separately with the customers.
Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies on our website.
- Technically necessary cookies: These are strictly necessary for the operation of the website (Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR or § 25 (2) TDDDG).
- Analysis and marketing cookies: For the Digital Presence areas and to optimize our website, we may use analysis tools or marketing pixels. Their use occurs exclusively after your explicit consent via our cookie consent banner (Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR or § 25 (1) TDDDG).
Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:
- you have given your express consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR),
- this is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR),
- there is a legal obligation (Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR), or
- this is necessary for the assertion of legal claims (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).
For hosting, email dispatch, IT support, and the operation of AI models, we use service providers acting as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Data Subject Rights
You generally have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time (Art. 7 (3) GDPR) and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
Insofar as we act as a data processor for our customers, we forward corresponding requests to the respective data controller.
Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data (e.g., SSL/TLS encryption). When using AI tools, we ensure that data is processed securely and AI models are not unauthorizedly trained with sensitive clear data.
Actuality and Amendment
This Privacy Policy is currently valid. Due to the further development of our website or changed legal requirements (e.g., EU AI Act), it may become necessary to amend this Privacy Policy.
